For as long as I can remember I have been placing small bits of country, eroded stones on my tongue . 
A sort of corporeal gathering of information that has become almost unconscious .
This has many literal and metaphorical implications .What interests me is when these literal and metaphorical systems slide over each other and become indistinguishable .
This conglomerate set of meanings infers consequences ,relationships and to try and dismember them seems arrogant and 
dismissive .The " painting " continues these processes and refers specifically and generally to the East Pilbara. (Frank Morris 2012)
