The shadow in a daydream is an exhibition of wall and sculptural works.
Using coloured acrylic sheeting and mirrors, as well as airbrush drawings on paper, the work describes moments where vision is tested and doubt arises about what is real and what is perceived.
The works create reflections that are split and doubled, shadows are distorted and objects are duplicated in mirrored images.
Filters and visual effects are at play here – they test our need to make sense of what we see while at the same highlighting how what is perceived by the human eye is often altered by the screen of things such as desires, fears and memories |
